Wilcom also offers free web-based or downloadable embroidery file converter available at this link. Alternatively, you can convert with Embird Editor (available in a 30-day trial version).
To convert to Bernina's proprietary ART format, you can download their free conversion software, Artlink 6. I have never used it since it requires a Bernina machine , but several of my clients have reported success in reformatting to ART.

NOTE: To use these designs, you will need a means to get them to your machine. Unless your machine can read floppy disks or a thumb drive, you will need a card writer box (such as the Ultimate Box, Amazing Box, PED Basic, or PE Design cardwriter box) and appropriate transfer software to write the designs to a special embroidery card. This embroidery card is then inserted directly into the machine. If your machine can read floppy disks, flash cards, or thumb drives, you may copy the designs directly to one of these and use it in your machine.
