All sets sew out quickly and are made in exactly the same way. Select felt that coordinates or contrasts with your machine's color, or choose your favorite color instead. Red/gold and black/gold both look great on my vintage Singer machines.

This set is lovely in black and gold, with small red accents. I have several treadle machines, but I seem to use the model 15 treadle most often.

The whole set stitches up in well under 10 minutes, with only slight variations depending on the brand name you have selected. Individually, each design takes between 2 and 3 minutes.

I've varied the colors in the samples just to show possibilities, but of course you can stitch any set in any color combination.

I've included the most popular brands in the list, but if you would like me to add another brand, please send your request.

My sample stitch-out is the Kenmore version but all brands sew out the same way. I'm putting these on several of my 158-model Kenmores, which are among my favorite domestic machines!

I have stitched my spool pads on scraps of cream-colored felt, with a pale grey-green thread for the font, to match the colors of my favorite Kenmores. I can't wait to deck them all out with their custom spool pads.

Spool Pad Set #7 is for Santa's legions of helpers whose creations make Christmas merry for so many of us . The whole set stitches up in well under 10 minutes; individually, each design takes under 3 minutes.

I stitched my Christmas spool pads on white felt because I like the way the colors show up on the white background,  but of course they also look great on black, or you could coordinate them to your machine's color.

Here they look pretty on my Singer 319K -- a favorite among my vintage domestics.

I do a lot of gift projects for Christmas and I just love these for the machines I use most often.

Spool Pad Set #10 is a second Canadiana-themed group, launching just before Canada Day. I love the teeny flag design that's only about 1/2" wide! Individually, each design takes under 3 minutes to sew out in your smallest hoop.

I stitched my new Canadiana spool pads on white felt, but the maple leaves and lettering would look equally good on red (substitute white thread for the red elements shown). The beavers would stitch nicely on black.

I used white felt for three to show off the bright reds and greens, and dark blue for the Noel one so the gold stars would pop.

Large Spool Pad designs sew individually in the 4" hoop, and each measures approximately 3" when stitched. Stitch-out time varies between 5 and 8 minutes, depending on the style you've chosen.

When purchasing, don't forget to let me know which two styles you'd like!

These larger spool pads, digitized by request, are intended for cone thread or embroidery spools. The center holes are slightly larger too, to accommodate the larger spool pins on embroidery or industrial machines.


These large pads sew individually in the 4" hoop. The more complex designs take approximately 7 minutes, but some will stitch in just under 5 minutes.
