Bed decals on the black Model 301s came in two different styles. Please be sure to double-check your machine before purchasing to be sure which set is a match for your machine. There are no exchanges on digital products.

Save the file to your machine first, then open it and print from that; select the "no scaling" option before you print to ensure you're getting the correct sizes.

 Designs are shown in different colors for clarity and easy identification of each component, but when you stitch them, use a single color for all.

You may use any shade of gold-colored thread that you wish, but if you prefer a recommendation, I suggest Madeira Rayon #1124, Star Gold.

Need a pattern or instructions for a 301 Cover or Tote?

1. Embroidery Library offers instructions for an adjustable, embroidable machine cover that would be just right to display a lovely 301 border.

2. Crafty Gemini and Debbie Shore both have good tutorials for custom machine covers.

4.  I also recently came across this pattern for a vintage sewing machine tote  on the Archaic Arcane website; it's a for-purchase pattern but it's modestly priced and comes with detailed pictorial instructions.
